Say it once. Then it is gone.
Hush! locks every message with a key that is used exactly one time. Scroll to see how it works.
One key. One message.
You and your contact share a pad of random keys. Every message uses a fresh piece, and that piece is destroyed right after. A seized phone can not open old messages.
Meet first. Then talk.
One phone shows a QR code, the other scans it. The pad moves straight from phone to phone. No server ever sees it.
- No account
- No phone number
- Face to face only
Check it with your own eyes.
Both phones show the same short code. If the codes differ, someone interfered, and the pad is wiped on the spot.
Locked behind a PIN.
Open Hush! with a 6 digit PIN or Face ID. A panic code looks like a normal unlock, then wipes every key and every chat.

Always know where you stand.
Each chat shows how many messages are left. About 250 before the end you get a warning to renew the pad at your next meeting. A missed message is marked, never silently lost.
Messages that disappear.
Set an auto delete time for a chat, or for a single message. After you pick it up, the server deletes the message at once.
- Text only
- Umlauts and chosen emojis
- Up to 14 days on the relay
A notification that says nothing.
The lock screen shows "New message". No sender, no preview.
Apple and Google can still see that a notification arrived, and when. We tell you instead of hiding it.
Coming to iOS and Android.
Hush! is in development. Text only, chats for two, in English.
